I have just received a hard back edition of Notes from Oblivion, and I am thrilled! As I always knew, the design is sharp and cool. The images, alas, are somewhat lackluster, but they are clear enough. As the designer informed me, my photos of the canapes were not of high quality, and they are slightly blurry but still effective, thank God. The book ended up costing fifty dollars (1/2 for the book and 1/2 for shipping) and took a month to print and receive. Hardly ideal, but when you consider that it is the printing of a single copy of a book it is understandable. Ironically, the eBook edition costs just nine bucks and the images are bright and vivid.
Okay, here I am again, knowing that nothing is going to happen. If I had some money I would pay for a review or two (about a thousand dollars), but that's not happening anytime soon. I have a couple of ideas that may help publicize the book . . .
